Excellent, clean, welcoming staff could not have asked for morewonderf
Very welcoming on arrival. Good location, and a very clean place. Only negative is the noisy cows in the farm next door affecting sleep during the night but what else can you expect being in the countryside.Wigwam was wonderful really enjoyed the stay, would come again.
Check in very pleasant experience.fantastic location and I honestly can't fault anything on this site ...shame it's not open all year
Nice clean park , friendly staff , Great location , would definitely recommend this lovely park
We had a lovely visit to Waterfoot park. The facilities were immaculate and well thought out with use of hair dryers and large showers etc. The site being dog friendly, even the bar is a huge plus for us. All staff were friendly and helpful and we are already planning a return visit in the spring. Thank you.
Great place would definately stay again. Stayed in a Wigwam would like to try a Hive Cabin next time.
Staff very freindly helpful good facilities toilet block clean and in good repair
Great location fantastic facilities and really helpful and polite staff. 10 out of 10 for our stay and will be returning
We have stayed 3 times in the last 12 months in the cottages , These cottages are excellent with all you need ! Already looking forward to 10 days next June x
We have stayed many times now and still love it !!!!!
This is the 2nd year we have been back to Waterfoot. It is ideally situated from the motorway and a perfect position on Ullswater to use as a base to visit the Lakes. The owners are really friendly and put on great entertainment for the kids in the mansion ...the Halloween celebrations were really fun. The site is super clean, and the facilities are all in excellent condition. The kids play area was a brilliant place for all the kids to meet and make friends.
This was our second 3 night stay at Waterfoot Park. For us it is in a great location, easy access off the M6 and a great base to stay. This time we travelled further a field over to Keswick and Derwentwater. Unfortunately as it was late in the season the mansion house was only open on one night whilst we were there but still enjoyed our stay.
The accommodation was immaculate with huge bedrooms and ample wardrobe/drawer space. Everything you could possibly need for 8 people from the cheese grater to decent size serving dishes. The staff were more than helpful even opening the shop when we needed superglue to fix one of the kids toys!
As usual our stay at Waterfoot Caravan Park was welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable. We have stayed many times and the quality remains at its high level. Wifi on the camping field is now available which means not having to go up to the mansion, even better if it is raining. Handy for the local area and not far off the M6. If going home South, the journey by via Thirlmere, Grasmere and Windermere is recommended. Will be back again next year.
Service was ok but the four leg child. Did not get she dog treat bag
Staff very helpful and friendly. Pitches a good size and fully serviced with good TV reception. Location excellent with only a 10 min wa.k to the centre of Pooley Bridge. Direction and access to site good. Only reason we haven’t scored 5 stars is the showers which are the push button type that ran for extremely short periods between each push - we feel these should be adjusted to make the interval longer
Lovely stay, very friendly staff and great caravan park. Brilliant play park for the kids, they had a whale of a time. We will be back!
