CHLOË HANSLIP VIOLIN RECITAL @ Lowther Castle
We are delighted to announce details of a concert by one of the stars of the classical firmament, Chloë Hanslip. A violinist of great talent, Chloë was trained at the wonderful Menuhin School in Surrey. She was just 15 when she gave her debut at the BBC Proms and has performed at major venues in the UK (Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall), Europe (Vienna Musikverein, Hamburg Laeiszhalle, Paris Louvre and Salle Gaveau, St Petersburg Hermitage) as well as Carnegie Hall, Metropolitan Arts Space in Tokyo and the Seoul Arts Centre; and worked with many of today’s leading conductors – Mariss Jansons, Sir Andrew Davis and Charles Dutoit among them.
Besides being an accomplished soloist, Chloe is also a committed chamber musician and frequently gives chamber recitals around the country. She plays a Guarneri del Gesu 1737.
