The car is the easiest form of transport to the Park. There is a bus service from Penrith to Pooley Bridge Village, approx 0.5 miles from the entrance. Main train station is in Penrith ( 6 miles).
The internal roads are of tarmac construction with speed bumps at various points and a speed limit of 10 MPH. The first 250 metres of the Park is on the level, the rest is then set on rising ground leading to the Reception/Shop eventually climbing to the top of the park and the Mansion.The touring field is gravelled road construction. There are 31 hardstanding touring pitches and 4 Wigwams. Low level lighting is used throughout the Park. The toilets, showers, dish washing area and laundry allow level access. There is family shower room which is designed with the ease of mobility in mind with shower seat, grab handles, low level clothing hooks and assistant alarm. Accessible unisex toilet in the main building. Access into the Mansion is accessible with a RADAR key via a ramp and the Mansion lawn can be accessed around the side of the house where there is a level smooth gravel path leading to a lawned seating area. Dogs are welcome in all areas except the toilet/shower blocks and play park but must be on a short lead.
